Improvisation is at the core of my creative practice. Since 2011 I have produced, performed in and directed dozens of improv shows. These have varied from fast pace, seat-of-your-pants sketches to slow burn character studies. I love them both equally. Some of the improv shows I have been involved with include The Vox Pops; It’s a Trap, the Improvised Star Wars show and MissImp in Action. These shows have led me to work with institutions like Nottingham Playhouse, The Glee Club and NonSuch Theatre.
I am a director of MissImp, the UK’s longest running open access improv group. As part of this group I have taught improv techniques to people of all levels of experience including community groups, professional theatres and university societies.
